CARESCO is the organisation behind the Sawtry Eye magazine which was started by the Sawtry Parish Clerk in Autumn 1988 and has grown from a small A5 booklet to a thick A4 magazine over the years. CARESCO took over the editing in 1996 when it became too time-consuming for the Parish Clerk to manage alone. The layout for each issue is produced by a volunteer graphic designer.

Published on alternate months (Feb, April, June, Aug, Oct & Dec), the Eye is currently distributed to every house in Sawtry, Glatton, Conington, Upton, Winwick and the Giddings (over 3000 copies) by a team of distributors.

The Sawtry Eye is the best source of local community news and views for those who live in and around Sawtry, as well as being the ideal place to advertise events and local businesses. Click here to read past issues from Oct-Nov08 onwards.
