COVID 19 Update

Following the current Government guidelines, we have suspended our activities and clubs until further notice to protect our service users, members, volunteers and staff. This includes the Green End and Alconbury Thursday Clubs, Chatterbox and Sounds Good groups, the Car Scheme, Sawtry Man Cave, the Coffee Shop and our Charity Shop.

We will be publishing the Sawtry Eye as usual, though there may be a delay is distribution. The Sawtry Foodbank will also continue to operate, if in a different way. Please be patient as we explore the best way forward while keeping everyone safe.

Thank you for your continued support, we hope to be back up and running as soon as possible. Meanwhile, we will be responding to messages as best we can.

At CARESCO our Fridays are different from the rest of the week. The day clubs close and the main room in the CARESCO Centre is taken over by the Coffee Shop which is open 9 - 11.30am.

The Coffee Shop began as a fundraiser when the building fund was started to replace the Homecraft Centre but quickly became an important part of village life.

Providing a place where people can meet for coffee and cake, the Coffee Shop has a wide range of customers including mums & toddlers and older people. Staffed by volunteer waitresses, all funds raised go towards the running costs of the charity.
