A day of Food, Friendship and Fun

The Green End Day Club aims to bring together members of our community looking for a regular day of friendship, food and fun. With us, members can find company, activities & companionship.

We meet from Monday – Thursday, 10.00am – 2.00pm in the CARESCO Centre in Sawtry. Members are offered transport to the Centre using a dedicated mini-bus with a ramp. Arrival times can be flexible if making your own way into the Club.

Drinks are available throughout the day and there is a freshly prepared two-course meal at mid-day. The activities we provide include crafts, quizzes, bingo and raffles, outside entertainment and occasional outings.

There is an attendance fee per person per session at the Club to help cover the running costs of providing the service including refreshments, lunch and transport. We can accept referrals from individuals, family members, or partner agencies in the local area such as GPs.

In January 2020 we merged our two longest running weekly activities, the Friendship Club and the Vintage Club to create our new four day a week club, the Green End Day Club.
