Sawtry Man Cave

COVID 19 Update - 09/09/20

Please continue to follow current government guidelines and together we can beat this!

Help control the virus. To protect yourself and others, when you leave home you must:

  • wash hands - keep washing your hands regularly
  • cover face - wear a face covering over your nose and mouth in enclosed spaces
  • make space - stay at least a metre away from people not in your household
  • If you are feeling unwell - get a test and do not leave home for at least 10 days.

We are pleased to announce that our Green End Day Club and the Sawtry Car Scheme have now restarted in line with current government guidance. Our Coffee Shop will reopen on Friday 11th September.

Although these activities will need to operate under the current restrictions and therefore will necessarily be different to how they were before lockdown, we look forward to welcoming people back. Please check ahead for details.

Unfortunately, the Alconbury Thursday Club, the Chatterbox and Sounds Good groups and the Sawtry Man Cave will remain closed for the time being.

Our Charity Shop reopened on Monday 22nd June. Please note our new procedures for both making donations and also when shopping to help keep everyone safe. Please call 01487 208026 to book in your donation.

Sawtry Foodbank is continuing to serve those who need the support. They can be contacted on 07743 593863 or emailed at .

The Sawtry Eye magazine for August-September 20 has been published as usual and delivered house-to-house in the normal way. The Eye is also available to download from the Sawtry Eye page along with back issues to October 2008.

The Man Cave is a place to pursue practical interests at leisure, to practice new skills and to enjoy making and mending. It is all about social connections and building friendships, sharing expertise and passing on knowledge.
